Skeleton
The bone hierarchy and how mesh vertices bind to it.
Elements
The two element kinds a character carries, discriminated by type: a deformable mesh element that becomes a Polygon2D, or a sprite element that becomes a Sprite2D spritesheet cell.
Slots
A sprite-swap group: one named anchor with N alternate attachments, exactly one visible at a time.
Animation
A named clip is a set of Tracks; each track is a list of Keys on a single target.
